The new 2015 UST Federal Regulations require owners and operators to designate at least one individual for A, and B operator classes and all individuals that meet Class C operator definition. Operators must be trained by October 13, 2018. After the initial date, Class A and Class B operators must be trained within 30 days of assuming duties and Class C before assuming duties.
